How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us.

Effective date: October 2026. Last updated: October 2026.

1. Introduction

Habi Green, LLC ("Habi Green," "we," "us," or "our") is a healthcare, turnaround, business strategy, and regulatory consulting company. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit habigreen.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. It also explains the choices and rights you may have. By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site. Information we receive in the course of a consulting engagement is governed by the written agreement for that engagement.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide to us. When you submit our contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your organization
  • Your email address
  • The topic or service you select
  • The content of your message

If you contact us by email, phone, or mail, we collect whatever information you choose to include, such as your phone number, job title, and the nature of your inquiry.

2.2 Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information, which may include:

  • Your IP address and approximate location derived from it
  • Browser type and version, device type, and operating system
  • The pages you request, the date and time of your visit, and the referring website

This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and diagnose technical problems.

2.3 Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from referrals, business partners, or publicly available professional sources, such as a company website or professional networking profile, when this is relevant to an inquiry or potential engagement.

3. Sensitive information and protected health information

The Site and its contact form are intended for general business inquiries only. Please do not submit protected health information (PHI), patient records, medical information, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the Site.

The Site is not designed to receive or store PHI and is not a means of communication under any business associate agreement. When a consulting engagement requires access to PHI or other sensitive data, Habi Green will put appropriate written agreements in place, including a business associate agreement where required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and will arrange a secure method of exchange.

If you send sensitive information through the Site despite this notice, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

4. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and requests
  • Schedule and prepare for consultations
  • Evaluate and provide our consulting services
  • Communicate with you about a potential or existing engagement
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, spam, or security incidents
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

We do not use your information to make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

5. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate the Site and our business, including our website hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.), which hosts the Site and processes contact form submissions on our behalf, and our email provider. The Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads. These providers may use your information only as needed to provide services to us or as described in their own privacy policies.
  • Professional advisors. We may share information with our attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers when reasonably necessary.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or a government or regulatory request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, our clients, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Business transfers. If Habi Green is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose with your consent.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics tools, tracking pixels, or social media tracking. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical measures to deliver the Site securely. A visitor's choice to hide on-screen notices may be stored in that visitor's browser.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not track visitors across websites or sell personal information, we treat all visitors as having opted out of such activities. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals to the extent required by law.

If we add analytics or other tracking tools in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before doing so and provide any notice or choices required by law.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to your inquiry, maintain business records, and meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements. Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are generally deleted within 24 months unless a longer period is required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

8. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all Site traffic and access controls on business accounts. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You share information at your own risk, which is one reason we ask you not to send sensitive information through the Site.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: to ask us to correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: to ask us to delete your personal information
  • Portability: to receive your information in a usable format
  • Opt out: of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling (we do not engage in these activities)
  • Non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights

How to make a request. Email admin@habigreen.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or write to the mailing address below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to your appeal within the time required by applicable law.

We will honor reasonable requests from any visitor, whether or not a specific law requires it.

10. Notice to California residents

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), applies to Habi Green, California residents have the rights described in Section 9. In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information through the Site: identifiers (such as name, email address, and IP address), professional information (such as organization and role), and internet activity information (such as browsing data on the Site). These categories are collected from the sources described in Section 2, used for the purposes described in Section 4, and disclosed to the categories of recipients described in Section 5. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give rise to a right to limit.

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 ("Shine the Light"), California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not make such disclosures.

11. Notice to residents of other states

Residents of certain other states, including Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, may have similar rights under their state privacy laws, to the extent those laws apply to Habi Green. You may exercise any applicable rights using the process in Section 9.

12. International visitors

Habi Green is based in the United States, and the Site is hosted in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your information on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to inquiries and operating our business, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to comply with legal obligations. You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your information, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

13. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

14. Third-party websites and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including professional networking sites such as LinkedIn. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

15. Email communications

We will use your email address to respond to your inquiry and to communicate about a potential or existing engagement. We do not send marketing newsletters without your consent. If you receive a marketing email from us, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in that email or by contacting us.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide notice on the Site before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy.
